Waymo International Expansion to UAE

Fall 2025

For this group project, I led the strategic analysis for Waymo’s potential entry into the United Arab Emirates, focusing on how autonomous ride-hailing could scale in a market uniquely positioned for early adoption. I conducted a full CAGE and AAA framework evaluation, built a detailed TAM for Dubai and Abu Dhabi, and mapped competitive dynamics across global AV players such as WeRide and Baidu Apollo Go.

My work also examined regulatory readiness, infrastructure maturity, tourism-driven demand, and first-mover advantages specific to the UAE. I developed a market-entry storyline supported by financial modeling, scenario analysis, and recommended sequencing for launch. This project showcases my ability to combine global strategy, technology analysis, and data-driven insights to evaluate high-growth international opportunities/
